When Ella Nafziger posted a 15-second cover of City and Colour’s ‘The Grand Optimist’ the last thing she thought was that Green would see it. Let alone be so moved by it. 

But the internet can be a small place.

“This young girl had tagged City and Colour in a post, so I clicked on it. It was her singing my song and I literally had an emotional breakdown”, said Dallas Green.
